We love God and farming. Over the years we have done a variety of growing techniques and animal care, and have landed in Northwestern Wisconsin, a beautiful place we are blessed to call home. As a family, we enjoy teaching our children and others what we know. Hopefully you'll enjoy joining us on our own learning journey as a family too. There has never been a better time to eat locally!Some fun things about us:
We have 7 children - and yes they are all ours after being married over 18 years now. During a season in our lives as independent contractors while we had 6 children, we lived in 11 places in 8 years before we landed here in Frederic. We have a lot of animals, and dream of more! In addition to taking care of our homestead, Josh works as overnight care staff for a residential facility for youth with mental health needs, and Sarah works as a mentor for the state of Wisconsin helping people coming out of addiction or who might have mental health needs of all ages. Someday we dream of becoming potential foster or adoptive parents also. We don't think our home will ever be an empty nest, but we'll just have to see what God might do!
